About PKSTE Control

Understand your workspace, how traders run, and where to manage your account.

Version 0.1.0

One system, two workspaces

PKSTE Control is the operator workspace for PKST Engine. It brings saved strategies, traders, market-data charts and trading activity together. PKST Connect is the account and subscription workspace. Both use your Connect identity, with separate permissions for Engine operations.

What the names mean

PKST
PK Strategy Trader, the strategy-trading system.
PKSTE
PK Strategy Trader Engine. The Engine runs the background work: market data, strategy evaluation and trade-plan management.
PKSTE Control
The web workspace you use to configure and monitor the Engine. Control is the interface; the Engine keeps running independently of your browser.
PKST Connect
The connected account workspace for sign-in, profiles, subscriptions, billing and access administration.

What PKSTE Control does

  • Create, edit and version saved strategies; review their settings and history.
  • Create traders from saved settings, update their configuration and request Start or Stop.
  • Review each trader’s strategy evaluations, trade plans, chart and saved activity.
  • Let Admins publish strategies to PKST Connect and manage Engine-wide settings, broadcasts and global templates.

Engine does the background work behind this workspace: sharing market data, evaluating strategies, maintaining trade-plan state and recording activity. While Engine is running, closing your browser or signing out does not stop a trader. Use the trader controls and check its reported status.

What PKST Connect does

  • Sign-in, your profile and account restrictions.
  • Connect roles and explicit PKSTE Control access, managed by Connect Admins.
  • Subscriptions, wallet and billing, plus notification preferences and delivery.

Engine owns trading state and final trading checks. Connect owns account and subscription eligibility. A Connect subscription or role does not automatically grant permission to operate all Engine traders.

How it works

  1. Sign in and check access. Use your PKST Connect account. A Connect Admin grants the appropriate PKSTE Control access in Admin → User Management → Manage.
  2. Prepare a strategy. Create, copy or choose a saved strategy and review its settings. Versions help you keep track of changes.
  3. Create and operate a trader. A trader is an individual Engine workflow with its own captured settings and running state. Saving settings alone does not start it.
  4. Follow its activity. Open the trader to review evaluations, plans, chart data and current status. Check the recorded outcome rather than assuming a requested action has finished.

A saved strategy is a reusable settings record; a trader runs a captured configuration. Editing a saved strategy does not automatically replace the settings of every existing trader.

Access and responsibilities

Manager
Manage all shared strategies and traders, including creating, editing and Start/Stop controls.
Admin
All Manager operations, plus Engine settings, broadcasts, global template changes and permanent deletion. Connect Admins grant or revoke PKSTE Control access in Connect user management.
No Engine access
Signing in identifies your account but does not grant workspace access. Ask a Connect Admin to enable it, then use Check access again on the access page.

Your current Connect role and explicit access grant are checked together. A Control session can stay signed in for up to 15 days; expiry, account restrictions or revoked access can require you to sign in again. Signing out of Control may leave you signed in to PKST Connect.

What is available now

Strategy and trader management, per-trader monitoring, Connect sign-in, role-based access and announcements are available. Shared market-data support currently includes Sharkexchange and Binance.

Live broker order execution is not enabled in this release. Simulated entries, results and chart activity are not proof of a broker order or fill. Starting a trader does not enable real-money trading.

Subscriber-specific Control access, additional broker integrations and the Engine’s broker-account/live-activation workflow through PKST Connect are still being completed. These are separate from the operator access available today.
